I just wanted to further articulate the wonders of our surroundings here (see below for YS description). Well, they`re really good…no, I mean really, really good. There, so that`s done! Ok, so the beauty of the magnificent landscape around us right now may deserve more than that but we have to pack and train it through the mountains today. However, as an example, upon getting out of the shower this morning I looked out the bathroom window to a scene of majestic snowcapped craggy mountains set against a crip clear blue sky…not bad for a bathroom view! Beats even the swaying palm trees view from our Koh Samui shower!
During our walk yesterday, I had a few moments of being overcome by the sheer beauty of it all, with poor YS having to patiently wait while I soaked it all up!
Ok, off we go now on the Golden Pass railway…
